Top 5 Theme Parks Apps on iOS in UAE, Q3 2024

The third quarter of 2024 saw varied performance across the leading theme park apps on the iOS platform in the United Arab Emirates. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps experienced unique trends in downloads, revenue, and user engagement.

Ski Dubai - سكي دبي experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, starting from over 500 downloads at the beginning of July and gradually declining to around 230 by the end of September. Despite the decline, there were minor spikes, notably in late July with 582 downloads.

Global Village Dubai demonstrated a significant upward trend in downloads, especially noticeable in September, where downloads peaked at 660 in the week of September 23. The growth was steady from early August, marking a clear increase in user interest as the quarter progressed.

Disneyland® Paris showed a downward trajectory in both downloads and active users. Downloads fell from 213 in early July to 52 by the end of September. Active users mirrored this trend, decreasing from 390 to 230 over the same period, indicating a consistent decline in user engagement.

The Tokyo Disney Resort App maintained relatively stable weekly downloads, ranging between 54 and 126 throughout the quarter. Active users also demonstrated stability, fluctuating slightly but generally maintaining a steady presence around the mid-300s.

My Disney Experience saw notable revenue fluctuations, with peaks in late July and mid-August, reaching up to $747 and $543 respectively. However, downloads were minimal, with some weeks showing no new downloads. Active users decreased steadily from 183 in early July to 95 by the end of September, reflecting a decline in user engagement despite the spikes in revenue.
